Menorca is the second largest of the Balearic Islands, and is often referred to as the ?little sister? of Mallorca. But sisters couldn?t be more different. ?In summer, Mallorca needs to bow to tourism. In Menorca, tourists need to bow to the island!? a travel journalist once wrote. And he?s right. The island has strict nature regulations – and has thus been able to preserve its originality. There are no high-rises here, nor any urban canyons full of loud traffic. Everything is more leisurely here; time seems to stand still. On this island, the hectic pace of other locations is replaced by tranquillity. Here, you can be at one with nature, and ground yourself.

In Menorca, you walk hand in hand with nature. Nothing is overwhelming, but everything is captivating. ?You either fall so in love with Menorca that you keep coming back – or you can?t handle it and stay away forever?, as they say. It?s as if the island chooses its lovers for itself. Menorca is an island for sun worshippers, nature lovers, hobby archaeologists and watersport enthusiasts. An island for recreation and unique experiences. As if not to disrupt the idyllic setting, its two largest cities, Mahon and Ciutadella, are located at the outermost corners of the island, which itself is only 50 kilometres long. Any one lucky enough to own property here is an individualist indeed.
